"I recently had a very positive experience with my Statefarm agent. More specifically, Beth from the Lehigh Street, Allentown office. I had gotten some literature from Liberty Mutual, in the mail recently. It was actually from my credit union, and they had joined together to offer people better rates on car, home, and/or life insurance. Since I had just retired recently, I wanted to see if I could save myself some money. I had been wanting to bundle my car and home owners insurance for the last few years, because I had a feeling, I was paying way too much for my home owners insurance. So, I called Liberty Mutual, to hear what they had to say. I was so impressed with the amount of money they would be saving me a year, that I took out a policy right then and there. The next thing I had to do, was call Statefarm to cancel my car insurance. Then, Beth answered, and after I told her that after 8 years, I was going to be changing insurance companies, she said. "I wish you would've given us a shot to see if there was anything we could do for you". I told her, no offense, but there's no way you can offer me the same low rates as Liberty Mutual. She asked me if she could put some numbers together, and call me back. I said sure, but I never expected her to call back. Little did I know, that 10 minutes later, my phone would ring, and it would be Beth. She told me she had better rates for me, than Liberty Mutual. I didn't believe her, but she actually did. We were on the phone for quite awhile because she had to explain some things to me, but she was very patient and knowledgeable. I believe she went above and beyond what most people would've done. All in all, it was a great experience, that saved me a lot of money!"
